Spencer Armstrong is a musician born and raised in Richardson, Texas. As well as making his own music, he is the front runner of "The Spencer Project", lead guitar player in "Monkey Love Band", and has experience in Live Sound and Audio Engineering.
Spencer Armstrong (born June 1st, 2000) is an American musician and singer/songwriter. With a wide range of musical interests, Spencer has learned many instruments ranging from guitar, piano, and brass. That skill set helps him make and perform music from many different genres including blues, rock, R&B, and classical.
Spencer is an experienced performer. At a young age, he was in many theater productions and that helped him get used to the stage. As an adult, Spencer has been performing all over the DFW area with multiple bands. He first joined Monkey Love Band in February, 2021, and is still their guitarist and singer to this day. He has been in other bands such as Tantric Saints and MXTP Junkies to grow his musical and performance knowledge. Last year, he started his own 3 piece band called The Spencer Project. While they mainly do cover songs now, they are slowly incorporating originals from Spencer’s catalog.
Not only does Spencer have a background in playing/performing, he has been taking classes at Collin College to diversify his skill in music. With an AAS in Commercial Music, a certificate in Audio Engineering, and a certificate in Music Business, Spencer has the tools to be effective in many different aspects.
While Spencer’s passion lies in creating and performing music, he is a talent when it comes to anything musical. His ear has given him an advantage in all of these fields to be of use to anybody who may need him.
